My name is Tony Okpe. I am the founder and president of Tony Okpe Foundation, I am a crime reporter, a media entrepreneur and security consultant. I have met and written alot about ex- convicts and why they go back to crime. primarily because there’s nowhere to go and nothing to do to make a living after they are released from prison custody
This is exactly what gave birth to “Tony Okpe Foundation’. It was borne out of the desire to see a rehabilitated excon and I have always desired to give back to the society that has given me so much.
This is my way of contributing in making the society safer re-integrating, re-orientating and rehabilitating ex-convicts back into the society, through prison ministration and counseling, engaging clerics and facilitators, organizing skills aquisition programs and mentoring them in various fields like: Farming, carpentry, bricklaying, tailoring, welding, painting, etc and also provide them with tools and start up-funds. It is my belief that we all need to play our part in securing our society, I am playing my part, please play your part. Together we can achieve more.
